2. OLB Haason Reddick

Outside of playing all 48 games over his first three seasons, Reddick did not have an impressive start to his NFL career. The 13th overall pick in the 2017, it looked obvious that he was being miscast as a hybrid linebacker after being a productive pass rusher at Temple.

Perhaps helped by the arrival of Vance Joseph as defensive coordinator, Reddick had 12.5 sacks this year. Yes that total is skewed by a five-sack game (Week 14 against the New York Giants), but Reddick was still a productive tackler (63 total tackles) while also being far more of a disruptive force than he had been (15 tackles for loss, 16 quarterback hits). Pro Football Focus credited him with 56 pressures on 412 pass rush snaps this season.

Don “Wink” Martindale is one of the best defensive coordinators around, and he fosters the most blitz-heavy scheme in the league for Baltimore. Facing the idea Matt Judon and Yannick Ngakoue both depart via big contracts in free agency, the Ravens may be left to mine the depth of the edge rusher market. Reddick would be a low-cost alternative, as he also looks to prove 2020 was not a fluke.
