The Green Bay Packers tied things up against the Bucs with a perfect touchdown pass by Aaron Rodgers.

As expected, we’ve seen quite the exciting start between the Green Bay Packers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in the NFC Championship Game. After Tampa Bay scored first on a Tom Brady touchdown pass, Aaron Rodgers decided to send a statement himself.

On third down, Rodgers went for the home-run shot and tossed an absolute dime to Marquez Valdes-Scantling down the right sideline. The result? How about a 50-yard touchdown for you to enjoy, Packers fans?

On the play, Rodgers really could not have thrown a more perfect ball. Kudos to Valdes-Scantling for a fine catch too, plus his ability to break a tackle and sprint his way to the end zone to even things up at 7-7.

It’s been no secret that Valdes-Scantling has had trouble with drops at times this year, which has even resulted in him getting stared down by Rodgers. The opposite was the case here, with the two connecting for a sensational score. As you might imagine, the fans inside Lambeau Field went nuts as soon as Valdez-Scantling broke free.

Now, it will be on the Packers defense to try and slow down Tampa Bay’s offense, especially on third downs. Buckle up, NFL fans. This showdown is looking to be a back-and-forth affair until an NFC champ is eventually crowned.
