Tampa Bay is suddenly the sports capital of the world
Tampa Bay is on quite the dominant sports run now that the Buccaneers are in the Super Bowl.
Sports fans in the area surrounding Tampa Bay have had quite the year. It has now only gotten better after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took down the Green Bay Packers on the road to reach the Super Bowl.
Tom Brady signed his deal with the team last March. Since then, fans in the area have enjoyed more winning than some fans experience in decades.
A new sports capital
The run began with Brady joining the Bucs. Then the Tampa Bay Lightning won the Stanley Cup in the NHL bubble in Edmonton. One month passed and the Tampa Bay Rays were in the World Series. They did fall to the Los Angeles Dodgers, but it was a great series that went six games.
Now Brady and the Bucs are not just in the Super Bowl, but they’ll be playing at home at Raymond James Stadium. Over 20,000 fans will be in attendance, and the team has the ability to cap off the year with a celebration in their own arena.
Both the Bucs and the Lightning play in the city of Tampa. The Rays play across the Bay in St. Petersburg. This entire metropolitan area already enjoys beautiful weather and is now spoiled with sporting success that may end in two championships in a span of less than six months. Maybe it is time to move to Florida.
It is only fitting the Bucs can win the Super Bowl in the city of Tampa. This is every team’s dream, and the party in Tampa Bay can keep going in 2021 … and may never stop if Brady can pull off another GOAT-like feat.
