6. Terrion Arnold, S, 4-star

Prediction: Alabama Crimson Tide

Sitting just outside the top 100 overall players in the 2021 recruiting cycle is Terrion Arnold (No. 104). The No. 5-ranked safety prospect in the class has really boosted his stock over the past year or so, even earning a 5-star designation from 247Sports, who actually has the Tallahassee native as the No. 25-ranked player in the class.

Arnold has aspirations to play college football and basketball after a standout career in both in high school. Having said that, his more profitable future lies in the former. The 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back has improved as a tackler in a big way but his greatest strength remains his quickness and football IQ as a coverage player. In fact, he could be moved to cornerback with ease if that’s where he would fit best on a roster.

The recruiting trail for Arnold has seemingly led to him having a decision between three SEC powerhouses with Alabama, Florida and Georgia all making the final push to sign him. When it comes time to put on the hat (or something of that nature), though, Arnold will end up being the final chef’s kiss to accent the Crimson Tide’s historic recruiting class.

247Sports recruiting analyst Andrew Ivins compared Arnold to Xavier McKinney, who was a standout and eventual second-round pick out of Alabama. This feels like a player who the Crimson Tide always want to have in the building and, as they are never a program to rest on their laurels, if they want to do that with Arnold, they will likely be able to get the job done.
