The Super Bowl is right around the corner and NFL fans from all across the world can’t wait for the showdown to get underway. For the Kansas City Chiefs, they know their defense will have quite the task trying to stop Tom Brady and the Bucs, but they’ve received some great news leading up to things.
That news is that cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has officially cleared the concussion protocol and will be all set to suit up when the two teams face off.
L’Jarius Sneed clearing the concussion protocol is monster news for Kansas City
Chiefs fans were a bit worried that perhaps Sneed wouldn’t be ready to rock, but the opposite will be the case. It goes without saying, but this is a huge news for Kansas City’s defense. The team will have quite the task in trying to slow down Brady and the rest of the Tampa Bay offense.
With Brady running the show, Tampa Bay has been able to really get things going offensively, which was showcased in the NFC Championship Game victory over the Green Bay Packers. Everyone thought Rodgers and the Packers would cruise to an easy win, but Brady had other ideas.
In that victory, he threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns, throwing the ball all over the field. Now, the six-time Super Bowl winner will look to slice up Kansas City’s defense.
Things just got a bit tricker for Brady, though, with Sneed all set to play in the biggest game of the year. Let’s see how Kansas City will be able to handle Brady with Sneed on the field.
