2021 NFL Draft: New England Patriots 7-round mock
N’Keal Harry hasn’t lived up to the hype as a first-round pick. That leaves New England searching for a big, vertical threat on the outside. Terry isn’t the draft’s most consistent wideout, but his penchant for big plays down the field makes him nice value in Round 6.
Any team that takes Terry will have to work hard to refine his route-running skills. He also dropped the ball far too often in college. He’s a raw prospect, but the Patriots have a system that can fit his emerging skill set.
The Patriots need to add at least one quality edge rusher this offseason. Hayes may not have a ton of versatility to his game, but he’s ready to rush the passer and set the edge right away from his defensive end spot. That makes him an intriguing late-round prospect for New England.
Landing Kraemer in the seventh round isn’t going to allow New England to seamlessly replace Joe Thuney if he leaves in free agency. He can, however, provide the team valuable depth on the interior during his rookie season. If he manages to grow into more than that it’s a bonus for the Patriots.
