Antonio Brown, Cameron Brate, Sammy Watkins are questionable for Super Bowl 55

Cameron Brate, Antonio Brown and Sammy Watkins are all listed as questionable for Super Bowl 55.
A handful of skill position players are questionable for Super Bowl 55 on Sunday night. Those players are Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate, Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins. Will they play in the big game?
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports all three players are expected to give it a go in the Super Bowl. Brate is dealing with a back issue, Brown’s knee is banged up and Watkins has a calf that is giving him some trouble. If it were a regular-season game, any of them could theoretically sit out, but with it being the Super Bowl, you better believe they will do everything in their power to play.
Could any of these skill position players tip the scales on Sunday night?
While we should not count on any of them to win Super Bowl 55 MVP, these are three very talented players. Brate has been a staple in the Buccaneers receiving corps for years now. Brown is a borderline Pro Football Hall of Famer in his first year in Tampa. Though this feels like the final year Watkins will play in Kansas City, his ability to break one has always been his calling card.
While Super Bowl MVP is likely to be the quarterback of the winning team, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes will be counting on guys like Brate, Brown and Watkins to make a big play or two in clutch situations. Whichever team executes better on Sunday night in primetime will end up hoisting the Lombardi Trophy for the entire world to see. This should be a fantastic game.
Look for Brate, Brown and Watkins to do whatever it takes to play in Super Bowl 55 on Sunday.
