What did Tom Brady’s former team think about him winning Super Bowl 55 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

It appears we have a verdict in the case of Tom Brady v The Patriot Way.

Brady won his seventh Super Bowl on Sunday but did it in a Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniform. It was the finale of the first season Brady played away from the Patriots and answered the question of whether he can win without Bill Belichick and the system he won six other Super Bowls with.

Not only did the Buccaneers beat the Chiefs, but they dismantled them, unlike anything we’ve seen before. Tampa’s defense held Patrick Mahomes out of the end zone, which helped Brady’s 201 yards and 3 touchdowns put an exclamation point on his first season away from New England.

So what did the Patriots think about this?

The New England Patriots congratulate Tom Brady on Super Bowl LV win

The Super Bowl 55 win marks the seventh big game win for Brady in his 10 appearances. The New England Patriots had to watch him win one for another organization but took some time to show the veteran some love on Twitter.

You have to admit, it’s a classy response.

After all Brady did for the Patriots organization, it has no other choice but to be happy for him after all he’s accomplished.

Super Bowl 55 just goes to show you that Brady is indeed the greatest to ever do it. With or without Belichick, or a system, or whatever else doubters said he needed, the guy simply gets the job done.
