Streaker runs on the field during the tail-end of Super Bowl 55 (Video)
By John Buhler
With Super Bowl 55 resolving into a laugher, of course, a streaker ran on the field.
With the game seemingly out of reach for the Kansas City Chiefs, a fan ran onto the Raymond James Stadium field minutes before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowl 55 at home.
It was a totally dominating performance by the Buccaneers, as the Chiefs’ offensive line had no answer for the relentless Tampa Bay pass rush. Unless you were a Buccaneers fan, this game quickly became uninteresting from a competitive standpoint early in the second half. That is until a fan decided to be a star of the show. At least he was clothed, but he will be going to prison now.
What does this Super Bowl victory mean for Tom Brady and the Buccaneers?
By winning Lombardi Trophy No. 7, it means Tom Brady is the unquestioned GOAT of the sport of football. He just took a team all the way in his first season on a new club. Tampa Bay had not made the playoffs since 2007 and now they are Super Bowl champions. He now improves to 7-3 all-time in the greatest American sporting event there is. Nobody is catching him, no one.
As for the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes, oh, they will get to more Super Bowls in the future, but this team is not yet a dynasty. Despite winning playing in the last three AFC Championships, they only have one Super Bowl to show for it. The two times they have lost came vs. Brady’s team: the 2018 New England Patriots and now the 2020 Buccaneers. He is never catching Brady, sadly.
Let’s hope that fan was already having the time of his life before heading to jail.
