Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski made history in the NFL with their touchdown in the first quarter.
For anyone still wondering, Tom Brady can still play football. How good is he? He just made history.
During the first quarter, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback connected with Rob Gronkowski for an eight-yard touchdown to give them a 7-3 lead. In his 10th Super Bowl, it was the first time he threw a touchdown in the first quarter. Improbable. How has he never been able to do this in his nine previous tries? Who even knew he hadn’t done this before until the broadcasters said so during the game?
That touchdown gave the two the record for the most touchdowns in postseason history with 13. The touchdown also gives Gronk a touchdown in five Super Bowls, something no one else has accomplished.

The Kansas City Chiefs might have picked up an early lead from a Harrison Butker field goal, but the storyline now goes back to Brady and Gronk. After making a name for themselves in New England, the postseason connection is alive and well in Tampa Bay.
