OL. 2. . 124. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Kansas City Chiefs. Mike Remmers. player

There isn’t much of a difference between Remmers and Osemele besides health. Both are 31, both had breakout seasons as offensive linemen and both are usually considered depth pieces.

There’s also one more difference between the two. Remmers can play guard or tackle while Osemele is limited to the inside. That’s an advantage for the former Panthers standout.

Remmers signed a one-year deal this offseason as the team’s swing tackle. He’s swung from right tackle to left guard to back to the outside in 16 games. He’s also played in at 81 percent of snaps all but once since Week 5.

Based on production alone, Remmers should be a name to watch for. He fits a massive need and will be affordable after so many mixed seasons on the open market. Should the line return healthy, he’s a perfect sixth lineman. Should they be missing pieces entering 2021, he’s a plug and play all-around option.
