Yadier Molina posted an awesome video on Instagram to share with St. Louis fans everywhere just how pumped up he is to be returning to the team.

While he received plenty of interest this offseason in free agency, superstar catcher Yadier Molina decided there’s no place like home. That’s right, the stud backstop has signed a contract to return to the St. Louis Cardinals.

As you might imagine, the Cards faithful were fired up to learn that the team agreed to a new deal with Molina. Seeing him in a new uniform next year would be incredibly weird. Well, Molina of course is also thrilled about his return. He made that much clear with his latest Instagram post.

Yadier Molina’s new post honoring his return to St. Louis is sensational

Goodness, this video will hit St. Louis supporters right in the feels. To start things off with his first hit in a Cards’ jersey is one thing, but to throw back memories of World Series glory is also something to get you ready for the 2021 baseball season.

Molina is a St. Louis legend and no one will ever be able to take that title away from him. He’s been with the club since 2004 and he’s been nothing short of outstanding. Thus far in his storied career, Molina has posted 2,001 hits, 160 homers and 932 RBI.

Defensively, you’d be hard-pressed to find a catcher with a better arm than Molina. Trying to steal on him is a huge, huge mistake. The nine-time All-Star signed his one-year deal with St. Louis earlier this month and has dreams of helping the team win another World Series.

After the team went out and traded for Nolan Arenado, they sure are looking like serious threats to do so. Get ready for what should be a memorable season, Cards fans.
