These five teams are the best fits for Allen Robinson in free agency.

The free-agent class of wide receivers is a talented, deep group, but the best player on the board has to be Allen Robinson. A true No. 1 receiver, Robinson has been extremely productive in Chicago despite getting mediocre quarterback play for the past few years.

There will be plenty of potential suitors for Robinson, who should command a ton of money in free agency given his production. There is also a chance that the Bears use the franchise tag to retain Robinson, which would render this whole exercise moot, but their salary cap situation makes that less likely.

Let’s break down the five best fits for Robinson, beginning with his original team.

5. Allen Robinson free agency fits – Jacksonville Jaguars

The prospect of a return to Jacksonville may not seem appealing at first for Robinson but the Jaguars have a lot of things going for them. The top overall pick means that Trevor Lawrence should be heading to Jacksonville, giving Robinson a chance to catch passes from one of the game’s most exciting quarterback prospects in years.

The Jaguars also have plenty of salary-cap space, checking in with over $73 million in projected room before making any cuts, giving them the ability to give Robinson a huge contract. The lack of state income tax in Florida also means that Robinson would take home more money than he would in other markets.

Jacksonville would love to add Robinson to be the top option on an offense that has some intriguing young receivers in D.J. Chark and Laviska Shenault. A true top receiver like Robinson would ensure that Lawrence has all the weapons he needs to succeed.
