These five wide receivers headline a star-studded free-agent class.

Every year in the offseason it feels like there is one position group that is absolutely stacked in the free-agent market. 2020 was a tremendous year for quarterbacks, with a ton of starters changing teams, including Tom Brady and Philip Rivers.

This year’s deepest position is wide receiver, which has stars at the top and all kinds of options beneath it. Whether you are looking for an up-and-coming playmaker like Will Fuller or a dependable veteran like A.J. Green the possibilities are endless. Let’s break down the top five free-agent pass catchers, beginning with Corey Davis.

5. Best free-agent wide receivers – Corey Davis

There are a clear top four options in the class, making the fifth slot trickier to fill. One guy who really stood out in 2020 was Davis, a former top-five pick who had underachieved early in his career with the Tennessee Titans.

That lack of production made it easy for Tennessee to decline Davis’ fifth-year option, but he responded nicely with a strong year. Davis tied his career-high with 65 catches and established a new career-high with 984 yards, adding a personal-best five touchdowns for good measure.

Just 26 years old, Davis could be a post-hype breakout candidate for teams that don’t want to break the bank for the top of this class. A perfect fit for Davis could be in Green Bay, where the Packers need a solid no. 2 receiver to compliment Davante Adams.
