1. Best free-agent wide receivers – Allen Robinson

This is really a case of 1A and 1B with Godwin and Robinson, who are the clear best options in this free-agent class. Godwin may be younger with more potential but Robinson has established himself as a proven commodity.

Robinson has put up incredible numbers in Chicago for the past few years, which is remarkable given the poor quarterback play he has had to put up with. Despite being saddled with Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles under center Robinson has still caught 200 passes for nearly 2,400 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns since 2019.

The Bears would love to retain Robinson and could look to use the franchise tag but they have clear salary-cap concerns to navigate. Those issues could allow Robinson to hit the market without restriction, inciting a big bidding war that could be tough for Chicago to win.

Any team in need of a top-flight receiver will enter the fray for Robinson, who will likely look to go to the team that can make him the best offer. That means the Colts, New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars could emerge as serious contenders to land Robinson.
