Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has made it more than clear he’s not going to let trade rumors bring him down.

Once again, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins finds himself in the middle of trade rumors. You think this is something new for the signal-caller? Absolutely not. At the same time, you’ve got to figure Cousins is getting tired of seeing his name being floated around.

Believe it or not, Cousins doesn’t give a darn. He made that much clear in a recent interview by saying that all of the speculation isn’t going to bring him down in the slightest and he’s going to keep grinding to prepare for next year’s season like nothing is going on.

Kirk Cousins is focused on getting better and helping the Vikings win some games

As you can see from the tweet above, Cousins made a point to let Vikings fans know that he’s happy to be in Minnesota and would like to stay with the team for as long as they’ll have him. While Cousins has struggled at times with the Vikings, he’s also powered the team to some impressive wins as well.

This year, unfortunately, Minnesota missed the postseason after finishing the season 7-9. Cousins received plenty of heat for this team’s poor 2020 showing. On the year, he did put up some big numbers, throwing for 4,265 yards and 35 touchdowns. Still, Minnesota missing the postseason felt inexcusable.

Looking ahead to 2021, the team is hoping to get back on the right track and make some noise in the NFC North. In order for that to happen, they’ll need Cousins to play like a stud and take care of the football. It seems like a long shot that he’ll get traded, so we’ll see if Cousins can shut up his haters come next fall.
