March Madness seed reveal – No. 3 seeds

No. 9 – Virginia

The still-reigning national champions, Virginia will look to re-conquer March Madness once again as the ACC’s best team. A more productive offense and the ever-rugged Pack Line defense will make the Cavaliers a tough out.

No. 10 – West Virginia

The Mountaineers have been surging of late, completing a season sweep of Texas Tech this week to go along with wins against Kansas and Oklahoma State. Known for a tenacious defense, West Virginia also has an incredibly efficient offense to complement it.

No. 11 – Tennessee

The preseason SEC favorites, Tennessee’s incredible defense has been held back by a struggling offense. Head coach Rick Barnes recently made some lineup changes, inserting key freshmen like Jaden Springer into the starting five, and that could help unlock the potential that the Volunteers have.

No. 12 – Oklahoma

A torrid stretch in January that saw the Sooners knock off four top-10 foes earned the final spot on this line. Oklahoma needs to build on that momentum if they want to climb further in the seed list.
