Bucs GM Jason Licht has funny response to woman demanding a Tom Brady apology

Buccaneers GM Jason Licht did not have time for the woman demanding an apology from Tom Brady after the team’s Super Bowl celebration.

Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers threw quite the celebration this past week after winning Super Bowl 55. The team took to the water and had a party that saw Brady toss the Lombardi Trophy from his boat to Rob Gronkowski in another boat.

This moment didn’t seem like a big deal until the daughter of the trophy’s maker went on the news to complain and demand an apology. Bucs GM Jason Licht responded to her with the perfect GIF.

Licht has no time for the outrage

The fun GM cited Stripes to drive home a point that many are feeling.

This woman, Lorraine Grohs, is entitled to feel any way she wants. But saying she couldn’t sleep because the Lombardi Trophy was tossed safely is a bit much. Demanding an apology? That is only going to open her up to responses like this one from Licht.

The Bucs are still in full party mode and her getting an apology would be a bigger shock than the team actually winning the Super Bowl. It’s not like Brady threw the trophy into the river.

Licht is not going to have any bad vibes enter his mind after the win. He assembled a team that was on the cusp of winning, and then acquired Brady to make it finally happen. Other owners around the league may be wondering why their own GM didn’t make a great offer for Brady last offseason.

Hopefully, Bucs fans are taking it easy on Ms. Grohs. She took the trophy toss the worst way possible and may not want to look at the replies on Twitter for quite some time.
