This NASCAR driver went through the McDonald’s drive-thru to feed his team during Daytona 500 rain delay (Video)

As the Daytona 500 was on rain delay, Ross Chastain decided to use the free time to pick up some lunch at McDonalds.
With the NFL season over and baseball still over a month away, this Sunday was NASCAR’s time to shine. The Daytona 500 got off to a raucous start, which included a multi-car crash 14 laps into the race. Unfortunately for stock car racing fans, the race was delayed on the lap No. 15 due to a rain delay.
If you ever wondered what NASCAR drivers do with the free time on their hands, Ross Chastain showed the world that he uses it to pickup lunch at McDonalds!

Chastain buys lunch for the crew
The driver of the No. 42 McDonalds car grabbing some lunch for his crew. You love to see it. And before you ask, no, he did not take his actual stock car to McDonalds.
As it turns out, Chastain was not the only driver to pick up some fast food. Chase Briscoe, driver of the No.14 car, pulled up to a Panda Express drive through, while wearing his fire suit just like Chastain did! That trip was documented by Briscoe’s wife, Marissa.

The drivers and the crew are fully fed, and as of this writing (9:00 p.m. ET), the Daytona 500 is back from delay!
