Keilan Robinson returns to the Alabama football program absolutely shredded.

After opting out of the 2020 college season, running back Keilan Robinson returns to the Tuscaloosa campus with a brand new physique, ready to take on the world.

Robinson played in eight games as a freshman in 2019, rushing for 254 yards on 39 carries and two touchdowns. Blessed with blazing speed, Robinson could be a menace in the SEC with a bit more added muscle to his 5-foot-9, 190-pound frame. Though reps will be hard to come by on what is sure to be another loaded Alabama team, here is to Robinson making the most of them.

How much of an impact can Robinson make a year away from the Crimson Tide?

With Doak Walker award winner Najee Harris heading to the NFL, that does leave a void in the Alabama ground game. Brian Robinson is expected to take the reins and be Alabama’s new bell-cow back, but other roster changes could free up more carries for Keilan Robinson to take advantage of. Of course, we are talking about Bryce Young replacing Mac Jones at quarterback.

Alabama will have several first-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft from the offensive side of the ball. While Harris is probably a second-round pick, Jones and wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle will certainly be top-32 selections. There is a chance Nick Saban may go with a more ground-control offense initially while Young acclimates to being the starting quarterback.

Robinson will have his opportunities to get even more carries in the Alabama offense in 2021.
