Indians hopeful to have fans at Progressive Field this season
With the 2021 MLB season right around the corner, the Cleveland Indians are hopeful that they’ll be able to host fans in the stands.
Spring training is almost here for Major League Baseball teams and the 2021 campaign really can’t get here any sooner. Looking ahead, the Cleveland Indians will once again have high expectations to try and capture the AL Central title, even without Francisco Lindor.
Fans are excited to see what the club will be able to get done on the field. With that said, will the Cleveland faithful be able to make their way inside Progressive Field for the action? The club is hopeful that will be the case the spring and summer.
The Cleveland Indians are preparing for fans to attend games this year
While the exact number of supporters who will be let inside the stadium is yet to be determined, it looks like the club is prepping for their to be fans on hand. This sure is exciting news for everyone in Cleveland. The coronavirus has completely changed our lives as we know it, with sporting events basically being shut down for the public to enjoy since the start of the pandemic last March.
It’s been incredibly strange to see sporting events without fans, and players across all the different leagues have expressed how much they miss having people cheering them on. In late September, what’s better than seeing the Indians in action and record a heart-stopping win via a walk-off homer? Goodness, we know several of you reading this are getting goosebumps even thinking about it.
When the season does arrive, Cleveland fans, albeit at a limited capacity, will be able to get back inside Progressive Field to show their love to the team. It will surely be a special moment when the home opener rolls around.
