4. 15. Pick Analysis. . New Orleans Saints . player. Scouting Report. NFC South

Three weeks ago, Drew Brees kissed the Superdome goodbye after being eliminated from the NFC Divisional Round. No, he still hasn’t announced his retirement but don’t expect him to return after last season struggling to keep the offense alive.

Attention now turns to Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill. Hill proved to be a quarterback that is mobile enough to evade the pressure. He also proved to be slightly worst than Trubisky when it comes to passing deep. Winston meanwhile did flourish in bursts in Pete Carmichael’s system.
Will that make him more affordable on the open market?

Brees and Carmichael spent the last decade thriving for production over big-time plays downfield. Brees’ average pass hovered in the mid-7.5 yard range and his average yards per game diminished to the 270 range. Instead of going deep, they trusted playmakers to win after the catch and in the open field.

Would that work with Trubisky? After all, he won the dang NVP Award last season in New Orleans. Maybe it would be a perfect fit for his future?
