The Los Angeles Lakers look to end a three-game losing streak, but have to contend with the first-place Utah Jazz.

Wednesday night will feature two of the best teams in the Western Conference facing off. The Utah Jazz will look to build upon their first-place lead at the expense of the skidding Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers have been struggling ever since they lost forward Anthony Davis for approximately four weeks due to a right calf strain. Los Angeles has lost their past three games, with their latest coming in overtime to the Washington Wizards. Not even LeBron James’ 31-point, 13 assist and nine rebound performance was not enough for the Lakers.

As for the Jazz, they have been loving life at the top of the conference standings. After having their nine-game winning streak snapped to the Los Angeles Clippers this past Friday, the Jazz took out their frustrations on the Charlotte Hornets in their 132-110 win. Guard Donovan Mitchell would lead the way for the Jazz with 23 points (8-of-17 from field) and eight assists.
