Sacramento Kings. Ziaire Williams. 11. player. 84. . Wing

Williams is a long, smooth shot-maker who can make a difference with the ball or without it. His shooting has been abysmal to start the season (29.7 percent on 64 3-point attempts) but there’s every reason to think this is an aberration and he projects as a solid threat spotting up or pulling-up off the dribble. However, his ceiling is limited by his reluctance to attack the rim and his willingness to settle for that jumper. He’s not an elite defender but has the size and athleticism to be a plus at that end of the floor.

Williams is probably not a three-level scorer at the next level, without the handle or assertiveness to effectively attack the basket. But he still has enough diversity in his shot profile to be useful as a secondary offensive threat and he could do well eventually soaking up some of Harrison Barnes’ minutes and playing off Tyrese Haliburton and De’Aaron Fox.
