It looks like Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews have changed their phone backgrounds forever.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his fiancee Brittany Matthews have had an interesting last few months.

The couple got engaged this spring on the same night Mahomes received his Super Bowl ring, with the quarterback proposing to his high school sweetheart at Arrowhead Stadium. In the months since, Kansas City’s royal couple announced they were expecting their first child.

This week, their baby girl arrived, named Sterling Skye Mahomes. Great name.

Now it looks like their baby girl is on their minds every time they glance at their phones.

It’s incredible that Matthews has never had another photo as her screensaver before now, but her baby girl definitely deserves the spotlight. She’s sure to provide Mahomes a ton of inspiration and motivation for this upcoming season. He’ll look to spend more time with his family before gearing up to start the 2021 season as Super Bowl favorites once again.

Mahomes and the Chiefs have every reason to be confident after throwing for 4,740 yards and 38 touchdowns against six interceptions, while leading Kansas City to the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Mahomes then left the Divisional round win over the Cleveland Browns with both turf toe and a concussion, but came back to beat the Buffalo Bills one week later.

Now recovering from foot surgery, Mahomes and the Chiefs should be good to go come summertime for another challenge at greatness.
