Russell Wilson posts cryptic tweet following latest Seahawks trade rumors
Russell Wilson took to Twitter and posted a video of him working out right in the middle of all the new trade rumors between him and the Seahawks.
Just when you thought things were finally starting to settle down between the Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson, ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that while Wilson hasn’t demanded a trade, he would accept a move to four teams. Goodness.
Shortly after that from Schefter leaked, Wilson took to Twitter to post a video of him getting in a workout, while throwing in a cryptic caption at the same time.
Russell Wilson’s latest tweet is most certainly going to make Seahawks fans nervous
With a simple, “all fuel” as his caption, Wilson is leaving everyone wondering just what in the heck he’s trying to tell us. Remember, this video was posted shortly after Schefter dropped his latest bomb, saying Wilson would be open to being traded to the Cowboys, Saints, Raiders or Bears.
This offseason, nothing but drama has followed Wilson and the Seahawks. Things all started when Wilson came out and publicly said he was tired of getting hit all the time and wanted more protection from the offensive line.
After that, the Seahawks front office made it perfectly clear they weren’t happy with what Wilson had to say. Ever since then, we’ve seen this latest dance between the two sides continue, with trade rumors flying all over the place.
Wilson, who helped the Seahawks win their first Super Bowl in franchise history back in February of 2014, is no question a fan favorite in Seattle and beloved by countless folks in the city. Everyone wants to pack Lumen Field and keep cheering him on every Sunday. With that said, it’s still up in the air if he’ll even suit up for the squad next fall.
