3. TE Tyler Kroft (Buffalo Bills)

Even with some changes over in recent years, the Los Angeles Rams have had a quality pass-catching corps during the Sean McVay Era. Robert Woods was a tremendous free-agent addition in 2017 and in four years with the club he’s totaled 322 catches for 4,070 yards and 19 scores. Cooper Kupp led the Rams with 92 receptions and 974 yards this past season, with three of those grabs for scores. Both he and Woods have totaled at least 90 catches in each of the past two seasons. The club will have to make a decision on potential unrestricted free agent Josh Reynolds, who caught 52 passes (2 touchdowns) in 2020.

As for the tight end position, five-year pro Tyler Higbee was the top pass-catcher at the position with 44 catches, good for 521 yards and five scores. There’s also Gerald Everett, right behind Higbee with 41 grabs but only one for a touchdown. Like Reynolds, he could test free agency if the Rams don’t re-up with him over the next few weeks.

The club could opt to cut Higbee, save some salary-cap room, agree to a new one-year deal with Everett, etc. Whether either or both stay, adding veteran Tyler Kroft could help in a variety of ways and could come at a lower cost. He played in only 10 games this past season and caught only 12 passes but three were for scores.
