Giannis Antetokounmpo slams door on Clippers with emphatic dunk (Video)

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo sealed the victory over the LA Clippers with an emphatic dunk.
Over a week ago, the Milwaukee Bucks found themselves on a five-game losing streak. It looked as though the Bucks were about to free-fall down the Eastern Conference standings. After Sunday, Milwaukee is currently on a five-game winning streak after a hard-fought 105-100 win over the LA Clippers.
The game came down to the wire late, as star Giannis Antetokounmpo nailed two free-throw shots to give the team a 101-100 lead. After Clippers forward Paul George missed a 27-foot 3-point shot, the Bucks got the defensive rebound with 35 seconds remaining and called a timeout. “The Greek Freak” then ended things with a forceful, emphatic dunk to send the fans at Fiserv Forum home happy.
Antetokounmpo’s dominant performance
As you saw in the clip, Antetokounmpo was hyped after closing the door on a potential comeback by the Clippers, and why wouldn’t he be?
Through 40 minutes of playing time, Antetokounmpo recorded 36 points (on 15-of-27 shooting from the field, including 2-for-7 from 3-point line), 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks against the Clippers.
That was the complete opposite performance as to the one George put up for Los Angeles. The Clippers forward scored just 16 points while shooting 7-for-21 from the field and 2-for-10 from beyond the arc.
The Bucks will look to extend their winning streak to six games on Tuesday night when they face the Denver Nuggets. Keep your eyes on Giannis, because he may very well put himself back in the NBA‘s MVP race if he puts up a similar stat-line against Denver.
