Steelers’ Zach Banner shuts down social media until he signs new contract
Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Zach Banner is focused on signing his new contract and won’t be posting on social media until things are finalized.
This offseason, Zach Banner is an unrestricted free agent and figures to have loads of teams trying to get him to sign on the dotted line for a new deal. With that said, Banner would love to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Will the two sides get something done?
Well, in an attempt to stay focused on his free agency, Banner has made it quite clear he’s going to stay off Twitter and Instagram. Indeed, until he locks in where he’ll be playing next season, Banner won’t be posting a darn thing.

Zach Banner announced he’ll be staying off social media until he signs a new contract
Banner was poised to have a huge campaign in 2020, especially after winning the starting right tackle job for the Steelers in training camp. However, in heartbreaking fashion, Banner tore his ACL in Week 1 against the New York Giants, ending his season just as it was getting started.
Despite that adversity, Banner has been rehabbing around the clock to try and get himself back to 100 percent. You know he’s fired up to get back on the football field after such a terrible ending to his 2020. Well, Banner is still waiting to figure out where he’ll be playing next.
The Steelers are hoping to re-sign him, but it’s still up in the air if the two sides will be able to cross the Ts on a new contract. Fans all over Pittsburgh will be waiting patiently to see where Banner lands next. Until then, don’t expect to hear from him on Twitter or Instagram. He’s locking things down until he figures the next step in his life out.
