John Harbaugh’s club may be doing a little more tweaking this offseason.

There are only four teams in the league that have currently been to the playoffs at least three consecutive years. The Kansas City Chiefs have won reached the postseason six straight year while the New Orleans Saints have captured the NFC South four consecutive years.

Then there are the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens, both reaching the playoffs three straight years. The latter won the AFC North in 2018 and ’19 and grabbed a wild card berth this past season. And the club won a postseason game for the first time since 2014 when they knocked off the AFC South champion Tennessee Titans in the wild card round this past season.

But 2020 ended a week later at Buffalo. Now it’s time to try and make the team better. And that could come via additions and subtractions. The Ravens have some money to spend (via Spotrac). And general manager Eric DeCosta has some key defensive veterans to make decisions on. So who could be moving on form John Harbaugh’s squad?

3. P Sam Koch

The impact of special teams in the game of football can’t ever be underestimated. And veteran punter Sam Koch has performed at a very effective level for 15 seasons with the franchise. It’s interesting to note that the sixth-round pick in 2006 from the University of Nebraska punted at least 70 times in 11 of his first 12 NFL campaigns.

The past three seasons he’s kicked 60, 40 and 51 times, respectively. Credit the Baltimore offense for that lack of activity.

So could the Ravens be ready to get a bit younger when it comes to their kicking game?
