Saints: Alvin Kamara and Sean Payton have hilarious Twitter exchange
Alvin Kamara and Sean Payton had an incredible back-and-forth on Twitter after the star running back went snowboarding in Montana.
With the offseason here in the NFL, countless stars are enjoying their time off by taking some pretty sweet vacations. This includes New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara, who is currently in Montana and living his best life.
Kamara was actually on a mountain on Wednesday, hitting the snow and flying down on his snowboard. As much fun as that sounds, head coach Sean Payton had a hilarious reaction to Kamara’s video post on Twitter.

That is just gold right there. Surely you can understand why Payton had this reaction. Imagine if Kamara tries to channel his inner Shaun White and attempts a backflip or two. Well, let’s not imagine that, because the speedster would likely injure himself in the process.
While Payton might be worried about his star player, Kamara is just having some fun and even responded to his coach with another humorous post.
Ever since he arrived to the Saints in 2017, Kamara has been absolutely brilliant for Payton and his offense. The four-time Pro Bowler had a special 2020, rushing for 932 yards and scoring a mind-blowing 16 touchdowns. As usual, he was great catching the ball too, posting 83 receptions for 756 yards and five more scores.
Come 2021, the Saints will look to lean on Kamara once more, especially if Drew Brees ends up retiring as expected. Before he returns to the team, though, look for Kamara to keep enjoying his offseason and making Payton nervous while he’s shredding on a snowboard. Let’s keep the backflips to a minimum, though, Mr. Kamara.
