Ohio State football produced the largest number of NFL Combine invitees for 2021, outpacing Alabama, Georgia, and Notre Dame.
No one has more top NFL Draft prospects than Ohio State football. Just ask the people who decide who gets an invite to the NFL Combine.
This year, 14 Buckeyes picked up invites to the annual NFL scouting event, leading all college football programs.

Granted, the Combine isn’t going on as normal this year. On-field workouts will take place during Pro Days for each program, while interviews will all be virtual.
Still, Tuf Borland, Baron Browning, Drue Chrisman, Jonathon Cooper, Wyatt Davis, Luke Farrell, Justin Fields, Black Haubeil, Justin Hilliard, Josh Myers, Trey Sermon, Tommy Togiai, Shaun Wade, and Pete Werner will be among the prospects who participate in the adjusted Combine scouting process.
Ohio State’s Pro Day on Mar. 30 is going to be absolutely lit with that much talent being put through the paces.
Ohio State football is a well-oiled NFL machine
The Buckeyes will hope to see all 14 of those prospects drafted this year. Getting that many through the gate is no given, but the program has managed to get a ton of players drafted over the years.
Last year, 10 Ohio State players were selected, including first-rounders Chase Young, Jeff Okudah, and Damon Arnette. At least seven Buckeyes have been drafted in each of the last five drafts.
Fields is definitely the headliner this time around. The All-American quarterback is expected to be selected early as one of the best passing prospects in the draft. If he manages to command a Top 5 pick, he will extend Ohio State’s streak of such selections to four straight years.
