Dak Prescott’s dad gives amazing quote after Cowboys finalized monster extension.
When the news broke on Monday afternoon that Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott, was given a massive amount of money and another three years with the team, fans celebrated. But no one, other than Prescott himself, could be more proud than his dad, who expressed his feelings just hours after the announcement was made public.
Nat Prescott, Dak's dad to @SportsDayDFW "I am a lifelong Cowboy fan and I raised the kid a Cowboy fan. At five years old he told me he will be a quarterback for the Cowboys. I don’t think God gives you those types of gifts to make them incomplete." @dmn_cowboys

“I am a lifelong Cowboy fan and I raised the kid a Cowboy fan,” he said. “At five years old he told me he will be a quarterback for the Cowboys. I don’t think God gives you those types of gifts to make them incomplete.”
Dak Prescott’s contract was record-breaking
The new deal extends Prescott’s deal another four years for a potential earning of $164 million with $66 million to sign and $75 million in year one, the most in NFL history.
Prescott is coming off a season-ending gruesome ankle injury that happened in the 2020 season and many wondered what might happen to Prescott having been out for most of the season.
Now we know. But Prescott’s dad seems to have been secure in his son’s future all along.
