Paul George finally admits Damian Lillard’s game-winner was a great shot (Video)
Last night’s NBA All-Star Game made it clear that 3-point range isn’t what it used to be and Paul George knows that now.
It was certainly Dame Time during the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday evening and everyone watching was aware of it. The star-studded event came to a close when Damian Lillard sunk a 3-pointer from near half-court to secure the win for Team LeBron. Lillard and his teammate (for the night) Stephen Curry took turns launching and hitting shots from ranges NBA fans had never before seen.
Lillard finished the event with 32 points after going 11-of-20 from the field and 8-of-16 on 3-pointers. He shot the ball so well that his teammate for the evening and arch-nemesis over the past few years had to show him some respect.
Paul George finally admits that Damian Lillard’s infamous shot was a good one
Paul George made his seventh appearance in the All-Star Game last evening and was a valued member on Team LeBron as they cruised to a 170-150 win. George finished the game with 17 points in 26 minutes. He had the opportunity to watch his teammate Lillard go berserk from 3 and had to re-evaluate his previous stance on their most memorable moment together.
After the game, Clippers beat writer Tomer Azarly asked PG about the new range being displayed in the league. George had to admit that maybe he was a few years behind all along.
Yes PG, when someone makes a game-winner, it’s typically considered a good shot.
