NFL rumors: Did Kyle Long just hint at his new NFL team with this suspicious tweet?
By John Buhler
Kyle Long may have just dropped a huge clue over what NFL team he will be signing with.
After spending a year out of football, NFL veteran offensive lineman Kyle Long plans to play in 2021. The three-time Pro Bowler with the Chicago Bears is not expected to return to the Windy City for an eighth season over nine years. However, he may have dropped a massive hint about where he will be playing this fall.
Long tweeted on Wednesday afternoon he is a big fan of the new Nissan Titan truck. Is this Long fanning starting a new wave of NFL rumors?
Nissan Stadium is also home to the AFC South’s Tennessee Titans. Though Long may just be a massive Japanese truck enthusiast, he may have some tightening up to do in his future. So is Long about to Titan Up? Will he keep Ryan Tannehill upright and open up more running lanes for Derrick Henry?
Kyle Long aligning with Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill is not a bad idea at all
Even though the Titans lost offensive coordinator Arthur Smith to the Atlanta Falcons’ head-coaching gig, Tennessee retains one of the most exciting quarterback/running back tandems in football. Tennessee has had one of the most exciting offenses in the NFL the last two years, despite the Titans being led by a defensive-minded head coach in Mike Vrabel.
At his peak, he was a perennial Pro Bowl guard for the Bears. However, injuries robbed him of his prime, resulting in a premature retirement after the 2019 campaign. If he is healthy, he could be a steal.
Just keep an eye on whether Long tweets about his affinity for the Ford Bronco next.
