Skip Bayless believes Dak Prescott will play the best football of his career now that he has secured the bag with the Dallas Cowboys.

A weight has been lifted off Dak Prescott’s broad shoulders, as FS1’s Skip Bayless thinks the Dallas Cowboys quarterback will play his best ball from here on out. Prescott signed a four-year deal worth $160 million earlier in the week to remain on “America’s Team” through 2024.

The co-host of Undisputed argues that removing the loathsome burden of a contract dispute will allow Prescott to finally play unencumbered football. For the first five years of his career, Prescott had to carry with him his fourth-round draft status. He played for pennies on the dollar from 2016 to 2019 before getting franchise tagged ahead of his fifth season out of Mississippi State in 2020.

Skip Bayless believes Dak Prescott can win the Dallas Cowboys a Super Bowl

While Bayless did not say Prescott was a better NFL quarterback over the likes of Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson, he does view Prescott as a top-10 passer in the league. That sounds about right. With him there in the quarterbacking hierarchy, it signifies that with the right supporting cast around him, Prescott can lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl in the next four years.

Should Cowboys fans get ready for Super Bowls LVI through LVX? Easy there. Dallas has not been to a Super Bowl since Prescott was a toddler. It is all about the baby steps. Dallas must consistently win the NFC East and finally get back to the NFC Championship game for the first time in a generation.

Once the Cowboys get their ducks in order, Prescott can led them to the Super Bowl.

With no contract to worry about, Prescott can go out there and play great ball for the Cowboys.
