Titans mock draft, Azeez Ojulari

Ojulari projects to be more of an outside linebacker than a traditional end, but he’s still going to make his NFL impact as a pass-rusher. He’s got just the sort of juice off the edge that Tennessee needs to add this offseason.

The former Georgia star projects to be a guy who can step in and start opposite Harold Landy at outside linebacker right away. He doesn’t necessarily have star potential, but it’s easy to see a scenario where he becomes a high-level starter during his rookie campaign.

Ojulari will likely slip into the bottom half of Round 1 because he lacks elite size or length. He’s not the sort of physical freak on the outside that’s going to dominate NFL tackles. He should be a good edge rusher but the odds are stacked against him ever being great due to his physical limitations.

Some fans might want to see the Titans take a bigger swing with their first draft choice, but Ojulari can come in and help this team right away. That makes him a decent value at No. 23 if Tennessee wants to play it safe.
