It’s looking like Russell Wilson is ready to help the Seattle Seahawks recruit Antonio Brown to the team to make plays for them in 2021.

Could this be a sign that the marital problems between the Seattle Seahawks and Russell Wilson are starting to blow over? Fans everywhere in the 206 certainly hope so, as it appears Wilson is back to doing all he can to help the team compete for a Super Bowl next season.

According to NFL insider John Clayton, Wilson has remained in contact with Antonio Brown and is hoping to get the speedy wide receiver to join the Seahawks leading up to the 2021 campaign. Will it actually happen?

Russell Wilson reportedly is hoping the Seattle Seahawks sign Antonio Brown this offseason

This isn’t the first time Brown has been linked with a potential move to the Seahawks, as Wilson also was hoping he’d join the team last summer. Instead, Brown ended up closing out the 2020 campaign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won a Super Bowl with the organization.

In that Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Brown finished with five receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. He’s a free agent, though, and multiple teams appear interested in trying to land his services. While Brown is a playmaker in this league, there’s no denying his off-the-field issues have also turned off several organizations as well.

If he can keep himself out of trouble, however, he can be the kind of stud who can make a huge impact for a team’s offense. Wilson evidently thinks he could make quite the difference for Seattle. And hey, if John Schneider ends up signing him, that would end up making his signal-caller happy. That, of course, would be a great thing.
