Sister Jean has arrived in Indianapolis for March Madness and stopped to take these absolutely adorable photos with Butler Blue.

What is March Madness without Sister Jean?

The 101-year-old chaplain for the Loyola basketball team will be in attendance on Friday when the Ramblers kick off their March Madness run with a first-round matchup against Georgia Tech.

She became a household name during Loyola’s Final Four run in 2018 but has not attended any games this season due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Ramblers’ No. 1 fan has made the trip though and is prepared to watch her team give it their best shot.

She even stopped for a second to take this incredibly wholesome photo with Butler’s mascot Butler Blue. And check out her kicks!

Sister Jean had been making her case to the NCAA to attend the tournament and finally got the approval she was seeking. She promised not to make a fuss while at the games. “If I’m not supposed to go on the court, I’m not going to go,” said Jean to reporters. “And I’m not going to cause any disturbance.”

We believe you, Sister Jean.

Loyola won the Missouri Valley Conference championship and is the No. 8 seed in the Midwest region. They’ll take on Georgia Tech on Friday, who will be missing a major piece in Moses Wright.
