LeBron James shook off a potentially scary injury because … duh.

LeBron James continues to prove time and again why he’s one of the greatest of all-time. On Saturday, during a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks, James was involved in a scary on-court incident that left the GOAT injured (relax, MJ stans).

But instead of seeking medical attention right away, James returned to the game to sink and a 3-pointer like the legend that he is.

What appears to have happened is this — one of the Hawks’ Solomon Hill fell while James had the ball. He landed awkwardly on James’ foot forcing his ankle to roll in a gruesome direction.

Immediately fans and media were honed in on James as an injury to the star could spell disaster for the Lakers.

At press time James had left the game, upset, and headed to the locker room. It was announced he would not return.

The Lakers are already dealing with the injury situation to Anthony Davis who may be back in the next 10-14 days, so LeBron missing any time isn’t going to be ideal.

LeBron could take a few days off to make sure his ankle injury is fully-recovered rather than playing on it and risking a setback. Considering his importance to the Lakers repeating as NBA champions, expect the Lakers to be cautious, but this doesn’t appear to be the type of injury that’ll sideline him for too much time.
