Oregon State showed no mercy on Tennessee after the Beavers upset the Vols in the NCAA Tournament.

The people running the Oregon State athletics Twitter account deserve some recognition for their merciless trolling of Tennessee after the Beavers upset the Vols in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

While it was a trendy upset pick in many March Madness brackets and while the Beavers were fresh off winning the Pac-12 Tournament, they were still an underdog against the 5-seeded Vols.

When you get to March Madness, you know the 12 vs. 5 matchups are ripe for upset specials and that’s just what Oregon State delivered.

Oregon State trolled Tennessee after the Beavers upset in the NCAA Tournament

Oregon State won 70-56 and the final score wasn’t entirely indicative of how dominant the Beavers were against Rick Barnes’ squad. The game was effectively put away in the first half with Oregon State jumping out to a 33-19 lead at halftime.

Following the game, the Beaver Athletics account tweeted a marvelous image spoofing Monopoly as them being the new owners of Tennessee Ave.

And they didn’t just stop there. They also trolled the Vols account for mocking their school colors.

Let this be a lesson to everyone playing Oregon State in any sport. If you troll them, be prepared to feel their wrath should they end up victorious. The Beavers plays Cade Cunningham and Oklahoma State on Sunday night at 9:40 p.m. ET.
