A security guard absolutely savaged Alex Bregman during a spring training game down in Florida din an at-bat where he struck out looking.

If you think the trolling and hate for the Houston Astros is going anywhere following their sign-stealing scandal, you better think twice. That much was once again made clear on Sunday in a spring training tilt between Houston and Miami.

With Alex Bregman at the dish, a security guard was the one to savage the superstar infielder, really taking things to a whole new level. How so? Well, the guard decided to bang a trash can throughout one of Bregman’s at-bats. You can’t make this up.

Alex Bregman was likely furious at a security guard for trolling him during Sunday’s game

To make matters worse for Bregman, he ended up striking out looking. So, not only did he have to hear the security guard banging a trash can for every pitch here, but the ump also sat him down on a toss he thought was a ball? Just brutal.

In the comments section of the tweet above, many people are calling for the security guard to be fired, while others are showering him with love. Ever since the news broke Houston cheated during the 2017 and 2018 campaigns, the Astros have easily become one of the biggest villains in all of sports.

Baseball fans everywhere have taken any opportunity possible to blast them. This has been going on for a while and there’s no sign of things stopping anytime soon in the near future. While the security guard and the fans at spring training got a good laugh on Sunday, though, we probably shouldn’t expect team employees to get away with his kind of act moving forward.
