The Giants are in prime position to sign Adoree Jackson with Jabrill Peppers and Logan Ryan recruiting the free agent cornerback to New York.

If Adoree Jackson doesn’t sign with the New York Giants, it won’t be for lack of trying.

According to a report and social media, Giants players including Jabrill Peppers, Logan Ryan, and Darnay Holmes have been part of the push to bring the former Titans cornerback to New York.

Zack Rosenblatt of the Newark Star-Ledger reported on Sunday the Giants are the odds on favorite to land Jackson, adding how “Darnay Holmes and Jabrill Peppers are among those very much pushing for him to join them.”

A couple of hours later, Giants safety Logan Ryan posted a photo with Jackson on Twitter.

Jackson was scheduled to meet with the Giants on Sunday, so Ryan was clearly part of the pitch. The two played together in Tennessee.

Peppers, another member of the NY secondary, was already buttering Jackson up on Twitter before his trip to the Big Apple.

Peppers beat Jackson out for the Paul Hornung Award and Lott IMPACT Trophy when they were in college.

As for Holmes, the Giants’ fourth-rounder also took to social media to attract the free agent target.

Holmes was a star recruit in Southern California while Jackson was at USC. Though Holmes ultimately went to UCLA in 2017, the two crossed paths in Los Angeles.

The Titans cut Jackson in a cost-saving measure despite playing well in his first three seasons with the team after they selected him No. 18 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. He missed most of the 2020 season with a knee injury and would have cost the team $10 million guaranteed if they had kept him on.

Tennessee’s loss will be someone else’s gain. The Giants are going out of their way to make sure it’s theirs.
