Even Mack Brown is trolling Texas basketball after their loss to Abilene Christian

Among the many people who thoroughly enjoyed the Texas basketball team’s embarrassing NCAA Tournament loss to Abilene Christian was their former head football coach Mack Brown.

Even Mack Brown had fun at the Texas basketball team’s expense on Saturday night.

The former Longhorns head football coach liked a RedditCFB tweet of a meme sent out after No. 3 Texas fell to the No. 14 Abilene Christian Wildcats in the Round of 64 of the 2021 NCAA Tournament.

The meme had Big 12 tournament team logos assigned to infantry soldiers trying to sneak around the corner of a building. Texas got stuck with the poor guy dressed up as a clown.

Brown joined Oklahoma football coach Lincoln Riley in trolling Texas for their latest March Madness failure.

Mack Brown can laugh at Texas now that he is thriving back in Chapel Hill

Prior to revitalizing his coaching career in his late 60s at North Carolina, Brown was a legendary football coach in Austin. Brown won two Big 12 championships and the 2005 national title during his 16-year run at Texas. Since he resigned at the end of the 2013 college football season, Texas has experienced not being back for the better part of a decade. North Carolina is now on the rise.

Even though the Tar Heels also lost in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament, misery sure does love company and Brown liking that RedditCFB tweet made everyone’s Saturday night and Sunday morning on social media.

This may be exceptionally petty, but people have had barrels of fun messing with Texas since the earliest years of the Obama Administration in Washington, D.C.

Brown is living his best life in Chapel Hill once again, albeit at the expense of his former employer.
