After suffering a fairly odd injury on Wednesday, Steph Curry showed up to the Warriors’ game on Saturday walking with a cane.
Injuries are simply a part of the nature of sports. An injury that you don’t see every day, though, is a tailbone contusion. That’s exactly what Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry was diagnosed with after the Dubs’ game against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday.
During the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s contest, Curry had to leave the game after injuring himself while backpedaling after a jump shot. The three-time champion tried to break his fall and ended up injuring himself in the process.

While no timetable has been given for his return, Curry is anticipated to be back sooner than later and even had a little fun with his game-day appearance on Saturday.
Steph Curry expected to be back soon according to Warriors coach Steve Kerr
Since the injury, Curry has missed the last two games on the Warriors’ schedule, both against the Memphis Grizzlies. The former MVP was there to root on his team though and showed up to Saturday’s game with a different swag than he typically carries.

I guess he and LeBron James are getting old and can be susceptible to injury. Who knew?
Again, Curry isn’t anticipated to miss very much time, and good for the Warriors because they certainly can’t afford his absence much longer. According to Steve Kerr, the best shooter of all time should be back on the court in the coming days.
Steve Kerr on Steph Curry: "No idea if he'll play in Memphis. But he seems to feel like he'll be fine in the next week or so. We'll see. Don't take that to mean he's out a week. He could be back practicing tomorrow, for all I know." Update tomorrow.

As Curry gets well and hopefully soon, the Golden State will be looking to make a late-season push for playoff positioning.
