Draymond Green shows no mercy to Tony Allen for questioning his best defender comment
Draymond Green put Tony Allen in a body bag on Twitter after the former NBA player tried calling out the Warriors star.
When are people going to learn that trying to get inside Draymond Green’s head is always going to end poorly? The standout Golden State Warriors defender is an animal on the court, and even a bigger beast on social media. Retired NBA player Tony Allen found this out the hard way.
On Twitter, Allen tried going after Green for some inexplicable reason. The result? Green responded the best way possible and really put Allen in his place.
Tony Allen tried savaging Draymond Green on Twitter and that was a big mistake
Allen’s response came after Green claimed he’s the best NBA defender of all time. Allen himself was known for being tremendous on defense, and he clearly took issue with what the Warriors star had to say. Yet, he came about things in the most absurd way possible.
As soon as Green saw Allen’s tweet, he had no choice but to fire back and really owned Allen. With Green bringing up Golden State focusing on Allen and that leading to the Warriors winning their first NBA Finals title, what could he really say?
As for Green, he’s won three NBA Finals with Golden State, as he helped the team capture rings in 2015, 2017 and 2018. Allen has one NBA Finals ring to his name, winning it all with the Boston Celtics back in 2008. Advantage Green.
The next time Allen or anyone else for that matter wants to spit some noise at Green, they should expect him to respond with plenty of passion and fury. That’s the only way Green knows how to live, both on and off the basketball court.
