The Rock is disappointed that Auburn basketball legend Charles Barkley is rolling with the Alabama Crimson Tide to reach the Final Four.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is not one to sugarcoat his thoughts and TNT announcer Charles Barkley found out the hard way.

After learning that Barkley, an Auburn basketball legend, chose the Tigers’ bitter rival in the Alabama Crimson Tide to advance to the Final Four, the Black Adam star had to give him some grief while promoting the new DC Comics movie.

Barkley even yelled “Roll Tide” when he picked Alabama to reach the Final Four, stoking the flames of the bitter rivalry.

Dwayne Johnson has a point, but so does Charles Barkley with his decision to roll with Alabama.

Everyone knows the rivalry between Auburn and Alabama, and Barkley is no exception. In fact, when the Tigers advanced to Minneapolis for the Final Four a few years ago, Barkley was out front and center rooting for his alma mater until they came up short to eventual champion Virginia.

While Johnson has a point, the same can be said for Barkley about why he believes the Tide will make the Final Four. Under Nate Oats, Alabama has been excellent from beyond the arc in the NCAA Tournament and has been tenacious on defense all year.

Should they get past Michigan in the Elite Eight and potentially meet up with Gonzaga in the Final Four, they could be the team that ends the Bulldogs’ perfect season, given their depth and range.

Additionally, they aren’t afraid to get physical with the opposition as they have done in the tournament to Iona and Maryland. Against the Terrapins, the Tide nearly hit triple-digits.

If there’s one thing that The Rock can’t hold against Barkley, it’s that Barkley didn’t guarantee his prediction, a move that doesn’t always work out.
