The UCLA Bruins are back in the Final Four after upsetting 1-seed Michigan.
From the First Four to the Final Four. The UCLA Bruins continue their Cinderella Story with a two-point win over 1-seed Michigan that came down to the final seconds.
Johnny Juzang was unstoppable for UCLA against Michigan. Juzang, a 6-foot-6 sophomore averaged 15 points during the season but nearly doubled that with 28 points in the 51-49 win.
This marks the first Final Four for UCLA since they made it this far since 2008.

A Franz Wagner airball with less than 10 seconds remaining doomed Michigan’s comeback attempt as they couldn’t hit a shot down the stretch. Juwan Howard should have put himself in the game because the Wolverines missed their last eight shot attempts and were 3-of-11 from 3-point range for the game.

The Pac-16 was just a decade ahead of its time.
There is something so poetically appropriate about Gonzaga now needing to knock off U-C-L-A in order to make a national title game and try to match the undefeated seasons of yore under Wooden. Old hoops royalty vs. the modern King in the West for more than a decade running.

Had three shots at it late and couldn't hit any of them. Congratulations to UCLA.
