NCAA Women’s Championship – Stanford vs. Arizona live stream, odds, start time, TV channel
It’ll be a Pac-12 grudge match as Stanford and Arizona will fight for the NCAA Women’s Championship on Sunday.
On Monday night, the Stanford Cardinal and Arizona Wildcats will ensure the Pac-12 takes home the crown in the NCAA Women’s Championship. The only question remaining is who will get to wear it.
Stanford beat Arizona twice on their way to the regular-season Pac-12 Championship. In both of those meetings, the Cardinal handled the Wildcats with ease. On Jan. 1, they won 81-54 while the Feb. 22 rematch finished 62-48.
This time Arizona will be buoyed by their tournament success. They blew out No. 14 seed Stony Brook before besting No. 11 BYU. Then they blasted No. 2 seed Texas A&M before continuing their way against No. 4 seed Indiana.
The biggest win of them all came on Friday night when Arizona took down No. 1 seed UConn, led by Aarion McDonald’s 26 points.
McDonald averages 22.6 points per game, so the Wildcats will look to her to launch another surprise challenge to a No. 1 when they see Stanford again.
The Cardinal have their own scoring threats to lean on. Haley Jones dropped 24 points on South Carolina to put her team in the final. With impressive wins over Louisville, Missouri State, Oklahoma State and Utah Valley, Stanford is one win away from the ultimate prize.
