Antonio Brown is straight up begging for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to re-sign him.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to bring back all 22 starters from last year’s Super Bowl championship team, yet wide receiver Antonio Brown remains unsigned.

Brown played in eight games for the Buccaneers last season. He had 45 catches for 483 yards and four touchdowns in his age-32 season out of Central Michigan. While he wasn’t even the Buccaneers’ No. 2 wide receiver option this past season, Brown does have a strong working relationship with starting quarterback Tom Brady, so maybe he has a point about not being back?

Brown responded in the comments of a Buccaneers’ Instagram post of the jerseys of the 22 starters from last year’s team who are returning. Because Brown wants to run it back, he begged for the Buccaneers to sign him in his free agency. Will Brown be back in Buccaneers uniform in 2021 or will his pleas of a return to Tampa Bay fall on deaf ears and he’ll have to play elsewhere?

Antonio Brown: Are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers his best spot for 2021?

Even in limited action, Brown showed that he can still play into his early 30s. The truth is that was never the issue with him. He was a perennial Pro Bowler when he was a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, he had nothing short of a disastrous 2019 season where he played one game with the New England Patriots and did not even suit up for a contest with the Oakland Raiders.

While Brown returning to the Buccaneers would make sense, the other team he has been somewhat connected to is the Seattle Seahawks. They would be willing to pay him more money and will allow him to be himself up in the isolated Pacific Northwest. However, the Buccaneers have the better roster and are more likely to get to Super Bowl 56 down in Los Angeles.

Even if Brown did not get the Buccaneers’ attention on Instagram Monday, it surely grabbed ours.
